Data Science@Work

JOIN US THIS AUTUMN to celebrate the launch of Stanford’s undergraduate Program in Data Science. As part of a one-time, one-unit course - Data Science @ Work - you’ll hear from data scientists working in industry, government, and the nonprofit sector about their professional roles and career paths.

In their talks, our speakers will share how they've shaped their careers in data science to combine what they are good at, what they love, what they can be paid for, and what the world needs. They will describe the motivating challenges they are addressing through their work, discuss how they've engaged with decision points in their career, and share advice for future data scientists.

We are able to offer this speaker series because of the generous support of Stanford Data Science. We will meet on Wednesdays from 4:30 - 5:30 in Building 370, Room 370.
