Faculty Panel: Data Science for Artistic and Cultural Analysis

Date
Wed October 29th 2025, 12:00 - 1:00pm
CoDa W101

Please join us for a faculty panel on Wednesday, October 29, to discover ways Data Science intersects with the arts and humanities! Hear from Stanford faculty members Mark Algee-Hewitt, Elaine Treharne, and Yuliya Ilchuk about using data to explore creative and cultural questions in their own work, and their vision for bringing this interdisciplinary lens to students through the new Data Science for Artistic and Cultural Analysis B.A. subplan.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the diverse applications of Data Science and a developing field at Stanford, whether you're simply intrigued by these topics or interested in studying the new subplan yourself! Feel free to share with anyone you think would be interested.

The event will take place in CoDa W101 from 12-1pm on Wed. 10/29, and lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend!
